Harness Your Child’s Strength

CHILD ADHD TESTING IN PASADENA AND LOS ANGELES

We help teens and children overcome attention issues through our 3-step ADHD testing process.

YOU'RE STUCK IN THE CYCLE

Maybe this cycle is familiar to you. You’re worried about your child or teen’s attention. They’re easily distracted, have trouble holding attention and listening, have a hard time sitting still and listening, and you don’t know why. You try a seemingly-simple solution, but the solution doesn’t stick. You end up feeling beat, exhausted, and honestly, frustrated. You know your child needs help to succeed.

This experience is a common cycle for parents of children with ADHD

1. DIFFICULTY WITH FOCUS AND HYPERACTIVITY

Your child starts displaying behaviors that impact their relationships and school work.

2. TEMPORARY SOLUTIONS

You try temporary solutions. Some parents yell, others try creating clear rules and boundaries, others try letting them “run it off”.

3. FRUSTRATION

You give up, feel self-critical and exhausted. You and your child return to stage 1 of the cycle.

Maybe you’ve tried getting a quick diagnosis, but it’s led to unhelpful solutions.

We’ve heard from parents how frustrating it is to get rushed answers about their child’s behavior. Sometimes overwhelmed professionals will give a quick symptoms checklist, or place your child in a “bucket” with a simple diagnosis. With this type of approach, children are left with crude and extreme solutions that may or may not work.

Imagine a doctor giving a 5 minute ADHD symptom test, then suggesting a high dose of medication or extreme school accommodations. As a parent you want a thoughtful assessment and a clear explanation of your child’s unique brain. Most of all, you want a careful and targeted plan for your child’s success, with accommodations and recommendations that make sense for your family.

ADHD Testing helps you get

Accommodations
Medication
Behavioral Changes
Relief

Your child’s difficulty with attention is unique… so is the right solution.

Focus issues are as complex as your child, and tailored solutions are needed to make an impact on your family’s life. When you have the right information, you are empowered to get the support and services your child needs to do well.

Our 3-Step ADHD Testing Process:

Children and adolescents who get ADHD testing are able to get the right help the first time. This makes a marked difference in their life. They’re able to access their strengths, do better in school, and feel like themselves at home.

You can help your child get there. We help families just like you get ADHD testing so their child can succeed. We have a 3 step testing process. Our standard testing process is $3500. You’ll receive a planning meeting, ADHD testing, psychological report, and coaching session.

1. Planning Meeting

Create clear goals for testing. We’ll ask you questions about your child’s history of experience with attention and focus. Then, we will custom-fit an assessment plan.

2. ADHD Testing

We’ll administer psychological tests, which may involve written and verbal questionnaires and simple tasks. This sitting can range between 1-5 hours, depending on your unique needs.

3. Coaching

You’ll get a detailed report with recommendations for support, accommodations, behavioral changes, and/or medication. Your clinician will help you and your family integrate these changes in your life.

You'll come away with

  • UNDERSTANDING. You’ll get clear answers about why your child struggles with focus. You’ll know how your child’s unique situation, including relationships, emotions, life stage, and neurology contribute to issues with focus.
  • SOLUTIONS. You’ll get tailored solutions that will help your child maintain attention and succeed. Solutions may involve accommodations, medication, behavioral changes, and psychotherapy.
