I help anxious professionals experience confidence and hope.
Dr. Connor McClenahan
Director of Here Counseling
Panic attacks and anxiety can affect your sleep, your relationships, your productivity, and your mood. If we don’t have a way to manage panic, we suppress it with addictive behaviors, such as workaholism, substances, and chronic phone use. I provide therapy for anxious professionals who often experience panic attacks. Reducing panic attacks means shifting our understanding from frustration and suppression to empathy and self-soothing.

What kinds of problems do you help with?
I help lawyers, professionals, and couples who are feeling overwhelmed by difficult and hard-to-move-through emotions. Sometimes I help people with OCD, anxiety, panic, trauma, and depression. Often the symptoms a person experiences is the expression of a deeper belief or memory that needs to be expressed and understood. This helps create new pathways so we can resolve the feeling and move forward.
How much do sessions cost?
My fee is $345/session. I offer super bills for out-of-network insurance reimbursement.
What's your training?
I received my doctorate of psychology in clinical psychology from Fuller School of Psychology, and graduated in 2015. My training focused largely on interpersonal neurobiology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and how our early relationships and experiences form the way we view ourselves, our world, and how we experience emotion. I have training in psychopharmacology and psychological testing, which helps me effectively address issues such as ADHD, depression, and panic attacks. If you have any questions about my approach or training, please ask.
